Introduced during a mutual project, the data scientist and the strategic artist had vastly different personalities, dispositions, and perceptions – yet powerfully, complementary skill sets. Immediately they identified they shared a solution-centric attitude and a voracious appetite to conquer challenges. A couple of debates and a few coffees later, the scientist and the artist quickly converged realizing Greg’s yin fused well with Scott’s yang. SCOTT STEVENSON (THE ENERGY) is the energetic, gregarious one who is anchored by storytelling that gets brands selling. He’s been crafting strategic brand stories for years, leveraging a broad canvas, including; digital, social, print, retail, events, sponsorship, and packaging for blue-chip brands in the CPG, Lifestyle, Sports, Entertainment, and Health & Wellness categories. Prior to co-founding Next Level, Scott led a strategic integrated marketing and sales agency for fifteen years, applying a unique property & partnership model. Co-promoting client brands, leveraging third-party properties – sports, entertainment, leisure, and lifestyle and activating with complementary partnerships – the model amplified reach, generated engagement, and optimized investment. As the agency of record for The Beer Store, TicketMaster Canada and Castrol Oil for a combined twenty-five years, Scott’s core mandate was to drive B2B and B2C demand – ideating platforms, to break-clutter and drive acquisition. Scott is a strategic content specialist at heart and seasoned publisher of national and regional omnichannel media models, garnering over 150 million unique readers during his publishing tenure. Notable brands included, national and regional lifestyle brands; Golf Canada, ClubLink Life, Chill, and Hometown Hockey to cite a few. Audience profiles did vary, yet the editorial mandate remained the same – deliver insight-based, game-changing content to impact brand consideration and conversion. His core inspiration: help businesses and brands create a unique point of difference by deploying storytelling to get business and brands selling.
GREG BOLGER (THE ACCURACY) is the quiet, calculated, and pensive one. Data-driven since the early ’90s, Greg was a web developer before they shortened the title to “dev”. An environmental engineering technology graduate and a 12 year global VP of Marketing for an engineering firm, Greg spent his formative years studying data and relationships which led him to create a digital, e-Commerce agency. His mission: serve both B2B and B2C channels, with the strategic imperative of hyper-targeting audience clusters to optimize share growth and marketing investment. Dedicated to his craft for over two decades, Greg was one of the nation’s first Hubspot Partners, eBay Certified Education Specialists, a Certified Business Analyst as well as identified as a high growth potential agency partner by Google Canada. Greg has been sourcing, interpreting, and translating insights to build audiences, and simultaneously drive; data, demand, and dollars. Twenty years of expertise, creating tailored automated marketing and sales processes, Greg takes immense pride in delivering budget efficiencies to impact engagement and R.O.I. He created and led a twelve-year digital and eCom agency in Canada and the Philippines prior to co-founding Next Level.
